Cycling is more than just for a pleasure; it has many benefits not only in our health but for the environment as well. Health Benefits

Cycling is good for our bones and joints. Elderly ones who can no longer do other heavy exercise can try cycling as it is known as the most light exercise that we can do. Those who are suffering from coronary heart disease, obesity, and arthritis can find biking as a great help to improve their health conditions. The reason why is cycling is another form of exercise that could increase our strength, strengthened our muscles and bones, increase joints functions, and like any other forms of exercises, lose fats.

Cycling is good for our brain as it releases stress especially when cycling is done in the morning. After a long night of sleep, morning is the best time to have a fresh mind and body. By cycling in the morning, it helps your mind to become more alert and focus on the other things that you will do for the whole day.

If we use our bicycle to travel from one place to another, we are also helping our environment as bicycle doesn't pollute the air, no noise created and it can help reduce the traffic. Bicycle is also much cheaper than any automobiles in the market but this depends of course on the quality of the bike. 

Convenient to Use

Since a bike is small and not spacious, you don't need to be afraid of the parking space just in case you go to crowded places. You can also carry it anywhere you go if it started to malfunction. You can put it at the back of your car, use it in the forest not commonly reached by cars or to places with small pathways. Only bike can do that. If you encounter traffic on the road, you don't have to worry as you can still keep your bicycle moving in the small path ways. Just be sure you obey the traffic rules in your localities when travelling on the road and of course always wear a helmet to protect your head.

As you can see there are many reasons why we should consider riding a bicycle as one of our favorite sports. It's affordable and is at low cost to maintain than a car. When you ride a bicycle you are not only doing a favor with the community but most importantly to your own health as well.
